2. General information

We only process personal data where this is necessary to provide a working website, to answer enquiries or to meet legal obligations. The legal bases are mainly Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual steps), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. According to STRATO, its data centres are located in Germany. We have a data processing agreement with STRATO pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the server automatically stores information that your browser transmits. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page, and your browser type and operating system. This data is used to run the website securely and reliably. We do not combine it with other data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The host deletes or anonymises the log files after a short period.

4. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock symbol and by “https://” in the address bar of your browser. Third parties cannot read the data you send to us.

5. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry. This includes your name, email address and message, as well as optional details such as company and phone number.

We send the details from the form by email via STRATO’s mail server to our mailbox. We do not store them on the web server.

If your enquiry relates to a contract or to steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

We delete your data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with. Statutory retention periods, for example under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.

Please do not send particularly sensitive information via the form, such as details about your health. We are happy to discuss such matters in person.

6. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. Fonts and graphics are stored on our own web space. When you visit, we do not transfer any data to third parties such as Google or social networks.
